A lovely tetradrachm from Magnesia of fine style

IONIA. Magnesia ad Maeandrum. Circa 150-140 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 30 mm, 17.02 g, 1 h), Herognetos, son of Zopyrionos, magistrate. Diademed bust of Artemis to right, with bow and quiver at her shoulder. Rev. MAΓNHTΩN - HPOΓNHTOΣ / ZOΠYPIΩNOΣ Apollo standing left on maeander pattern, holding filleted laurel branch with his right hand and leaning his left elbow on a tall tripod behind him; all within laurel wreath. BMC 38. Jones 27a. SNG von Aulock 7921. A lovely example of splendid full Hellenistic style. The obverse struck very slightly off center, otherwise, good extremely fine.
